How Disclosure Fits Within Your Current Recruitment Process

Companies using Mayflower Disclosure Services can use Disclosures as an additional tool in their current recruitment practices. The following explains how Disclosure could fit within your recruitment process.

Stage One: The Vacancy

  • Evaluate the need for Disclosure.

Stage Two: Recruitment

  • Advertising: any description of a post that requires a Disclosure should state:  that the post will be subject to a Criminal Record (CRB) disclosure
  •  Application forms to recruit for Disclosure positions: all application forms should state the level of Disclosure (i.e. Standard/Enhanced Disclosure) required from a successful applicant.

Stage Three: Selection

  • Confirm candidate’s identity and evaluate qualifications, skills and experience.
  • Make final selection of candidate subject to references.

Stage Four: Disclosure Application

  • Offer applicant the post, subject to receipt of satisfactory references and Disclosure.
  • Obtain Disclosure through Mayflower to confirm suitability.
